Blaster Master
In the days following the January 10th channeling with Sanat Kumara I had a noticeably challenging moment. I was aware that the energy had been intensely focused during the evening of the channeling, even as the dialogue and process kept me occupied. As we left that night some people made true Minnesotan-style understatements like, "boy, that was something". Yes it was. My own experience of challenge isn't the story (I'm not tellin'), but I sense that it reflects the phase we have entered as we continue our move into conscious creation. Conscious would be the key word here, particularly as it relates to what is unconscious.
The saying has been that we create our reality, and in general I agree. However, teachings on this concept often focus on the mind as orchestrator while ignoring the unconscious. No amount of affirmations can have permanent effect on our experience while the unconscious remains unaddressed. Why do we create experiences in patterns we say we don't want to repeat? Because the old patterns still exist within us. No worries, though, as we are getting plenty of help to clear the unconscious in the form of waves and waves of ever-increasing energy. More light penetrates, more gunk gets jettisoned. Marvelous in principle, annoying when it includes me. It's that little jolt of unexpected consequence that so cleverly demands attention, which is the point since we're trying to get something conscious. I mentioned my own experience earlier, and perhaps you have also had a little moment of squirmy discomfort in the past few weeks. The old ways of manipulating energy, staying protected or feeling in control are now going to get challenged every time you employ them. Little zaps will be reminders that a chunk of a previous story remains, giving us yet another opportunity to say oh, there's THAT. Followed by okay, okay, I get it, I can be done with that now. Then we love it and let it go since we're trying to dump this stuff, not process it forever.
Really, though, it's all good news. We've moved into clearing the more subtle levels, and are rapidly shifting into a new experience. This year is about getting more conscious, and we're off to a fantastic start. February is moments away (oh, yikes!) and brings us an evening with Lady Venus and another Transformation Tuesday to deepen the work. My encouragement is to stay focused on what we are growing and not on what is dying. I'll be the first to admit, however, that weirdness is scaling-up everywhere we look and that it can be quite entertaining at times. I cheer loudly for the dissolution of the old, while simultaneously wondering how this all can possibly change. This is large-scale collective clearing and restructuring, mimicking the changes going on in the invisibility of consciousness. You may have noticed more than a couple people still clinging tenaciously to the old ways, even when they no longer work.
January has been a very odd time. It feels like so much is happening somewhere all around my head, but I'm not being informed of any of it. I can spend days without any sense of motivation or need to accomplish anything, and forget that I used to fret over not knowing what I was going to do. I'm hoping that's a good thing :) I do, however, know of a few things that will occupy my attention this next month. The last chakra class on the Solar Logos is February 7th, Lady Venus is the 14th, and Transformation Tuesday is the 24th. You can also join us for a special family event on Valentine's Day, further sessions of Quantum Light Breathing, or a new offering on the 25th. The 25th would be the day when this Lightsmith technogeek will be teaching a class on audio recording, editing and podcasting. Getting ourselves out there - seen and heard - is the calling for which many of us are preparing. Changes in access through technology are happening as swiftly as everything else, and we'll continue to help others through the learning curve as we pass that way ourselves.

2-14 Second Saturday Channeling with Lady Venus - The second channeling of the new series for 2009 brings another visit from Lady Venus. As part of this year's shift into greater consciousness we are graced to be under the tutelage of some of the original creators of this planet. We do not know in advance what the focus will be for any of these sessions, but they are always powerful in effect.

2-15 Valentine's Day Family Event - Michele says that one of her favorite days of celebration is Valentine's Day. We haven't had a family gathering including our younger friends for awhile, so we thought this would be a great opportunity. We are inviting children and young spirits of all ages to a "Love Creation" event from 1 - 4pm. We will create with hands and hearts and voices the Love that lives in us and in the Field that is everywhere we are. Come prepared to play and be true to your heart.

2-25 How to Make Your Own Recording and Podcasts - Here's a new class by resident Lightsmith geek Chris LaFontaine. He will cover options for recording and editing audio files on the cheap as well as offering demonstrations with some fortunate (unfortunate?) class participants. The cost for the class is $25. The class is being presented TWICE on the same day, afternoon and evening, to better accommodate more schedules. Details on the calendar:

2-7 Solar Logos Chakra Class - This final day-long class of the series will assist participants to access their own Higher Self, Monadic Self, and Eternal Spirit. This will include opening the Akashic Records and past life memories. We will also work with soul contracts, release of vows and curses, and changing the Soulprints for this life. There will be a closing experience designed for integration and synthesis of the restructured chakras within the whole body.
