The Mystery

I used to love watching the old Sherlock Holmes movies starring Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce. In the end the caper was brilliantly solved and the nervous and confused Dr. Watson was always amazed by what was revealed. "Elementary", it was said.

 

These days it seems I'm watching my own movie, although with at least one difference being that I'm not expecting to see The End anytime soon. And even though I might fancy myself as the perfect Sherlock solving the puzzles, I honestly feel more like the amazed Dr. Watson at what continues to show up in my story.  At the moment I'm even willing to say that I have given up trying to determine how things will turn out, since I haven't much of a clue and would likely jump to the wrong conclusion anyway.

 

Wanting to know how the story is going to play itself out seems like such a normal question. Yet isn't such a question quite at odds with any sense of living in the moment? My view is that needing to know the outcome of something before proceeding is hardly logical, and is more likely a quality the mind has grown in duality while attempting to keep control of how the story unfolds. As I see it, those old patterns and structures seeking control of outcomes continue to be challenged to release. The new consciousness does not have such control patterns as part of the operating system, and I don't believe we can go forward while bound by them. In the new reality we are informed by the Mystery, and we are informed in sequence and as needed. Creation is not done alone and is not initiated by the mind. I would suggest that anybody still trying to create by thought without guidance from the Mystery will find outcomes unsatisfactory.

 

Our next phase of growth is intimately woven with the Mystery, and our ability to shift into a co-creative relationship with Creation is a reflection of our success in releasing structures of control. How can we be honest in saying we are opening to the deep wisdom of the Feminine if we continue to hold a belief about how something should manifest? And since when have outcomes been our sole responsibility, anyway? Perhaps that question could keep your inner Holmes occupied for awhile.

Wednesday the 19th brings us Quantum Light Breathing in the morning and a class on Facebook in the evening. Come and learn more about Facebook and this next-level form of networking and stepping into greater visibility. We will have computers set up to demonstrate and help you sign up, and you can bring your own laptop, too (wireless available). Facebook is free, and the class is only 12 bucks.  Absolutely no computer expertise is required. Suzanne Boben and I (Chris) will be your geek hosts, and we will begin at 7pm.

 

Thursday evening (November 20th, 7pm) is the evening session of Quantum Light Breathing

 

Earth Mother Monday (last one for awhile on November 24th). Our evenings with the Earth Mother will not be as regularly scheduled next year. We will connect with her when we feel the impulse, or she may show up at other events.

 

Friday after Thanksgiving is a social day here at Lightsmith. Bring some yummy food, visit with people in your larger family, and share a moment of gratitude. Approximate schedule: We'll open the building at 4:30, form a gratitude circle about 5:30, and plan to eat about 6:30.  Give or take.

The visit from Abigail Adams was spectacular! Abigail Adams was the wife of our 2nd president, John Adams. She was clear and powerful, and what she talked about was uplifting and inspiring. It was nice to hear from someone who helped shape this country at a time when we are in the process of entering the next wave of our evolution. Below are some highlights. "Well, Barack is a very beautiful soul who has chosen to be in this part, along with Michelle, and they are very partnered in their part. He is not the reincarnation of Mr. Lincoln. He has his own lineage that is very respected and respectable, as well as preparation in other times and dimensions for this role. He was born to it, he knew it at some level that he was moving into this large of an arena, and if you look at him you'll see that he is in his part. He is at ease, he is comfortable, he is relaxed because he is in his right place, as is his wife and children. They are beings who have a great deal of both physical and spiritual wholeness. They have a sense of what wholeness feels like and so they can create it. They have a sense of it because of who they are, because of their own visions, because of who they have worked with and how they have been, in a sense, brought up."

 

" You see them [the Obamas], you feel them, they are relaxed, they are calm, they feel safe to be with and trust. More people, even those who have opposed them and been afraid of them will gradually over the next years begin to relax."

 

"This is not [just about] your president, this is the world beginning to sense the capacity and potential within this choice. More than just this person, the choice is for a new foundation that has been made within this country but now will affect and move out beyond the borders of this country and include a new collaboration with many different nations."
